Club and Society play an important role in shaping excellent academic performance of students. While joining the Club and Society, they provide a platform for students to unleash their talents during discussion of ideas to succeed an event. In addition, it also provides a catalyst for critical thinking skills in students as it encourages students to think critically and creatively in order to differentiate their ideas from others.
One of the clubs that incense students to think critically and creatively is audio-video club which is then called multimedia club. Multimedia usage has been included in Universiti Malaysia Pahang Teaching and Learning activities while establishment of Multimedia club has been introduced not only in several local schools but also learning institutions overseas.
Therefore the establishment of this club in Universiti Malaysia Pahang is seen as an appropriate effort to ensure the students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang to extend their multimedia skills so they can be one step ahead than others in the job market in their future undertaking. Although this club is based on technology usage, products that have been produced in the effort of students’ creativity can be entertaining and at the same time it gives an opportunity and benefit to students to sharpen their academic performance.
